Republicans Beat Historical Average for Midterm Elections Thanks To Trump

The amount of races won thanks to President Trump has made this midterm election much less disastrous than midterms like former President Obama or countless other president’s faced.

President Trump campaigned hard for his candidates, sometimes with 3 rallies in 1 day, and it proved to be very beneficial for Republicans.

We gained seats in the Senate and won gubernatorial races across the country, and it all would not have happened without President Trump.

Trump’s Republicans Beat Historical Average for Midterm Elections

Republicans were disappointed to lose the House of Representatives to Democrats on Tuesday. But they gained several seats in the Senate. Overall the GOP out-performed the historical average for the president’s party.

As a recent analysis of historical trends in midterm elections noted: “Over the past 28 midterm elections since 1906, the president’s party lost about 30 House seats and 4 Senate seats on average.”

President Donald Trump’s Republican Party was projected to lose between 25 and 35 seats as of 1:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday — right around the historical average. Moreover, Trump and the GOP were projected to gain at least four seats in the Senate — defying history.

The fact that Republicans did so well in the Senate is partly a geographical quirk: the party only had eight of its own seats at stake in the midterm elections, while Democrats had 25 (including left-wing independents). However, the Democrats may well have hung onto their seats had they not chosen to attack Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

As Tom Bevan of RealClearPolitics noted, almost all of the Democrat Senators in competitive races who voted against Kavanaugh lost on Tuesday, while the one who voted for Kavanaugh — Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) — won.

Notably, Trump focused his energies on the Senate, campaigning in key states in the closing weeks of the election. He found it more difficult to help House candidates, many of whom kept their distance from him in suburban areas — perhaps a strategic mistake on their part, since candidates who chose to embrace the president tended to win.

The only years in which the president’s party has gained net seats in Congress in midterm elections since 1906 have been in 1934 (during the New Deal), 1998 (during the Clinton impeachment), and 2002 (after the 9/11 attacks).

Trump’s Approval Among Black Americans Reaches Record High As They Reap The Benefits Of His Presidency

Black Americans are doing the better than they’ve ever done financially, and it’s all thanks to President Trump’s policies.

President Trump’s approval rating among Black Americans has skyrocketed over the past year as the economy has boomed and unemployment numbers dropped dramatically to a record low.

It seems that his message of “What the hell do you have to lose?” not only reasonated with Black Americans, but it has reaped historic results for them.

Some would have expected record low unemployment for Black Americans to have happened under the first black president, Barack H. Obama – but no, it happened under the supposed “white-supremacist-in-chief”, President Donald J. Trump.

The Democrats, along with the Fake News Media, can accuse President Trump of being a racist all they want, but their words are just lies, and facts are facts.

From the National Review:

Republicans, Yet Again, Do Right by Black Americans

The party that freed the slaves continues to liberate black Americans today.

‘What the hell do you have to lose?” candidate Donald J. Trump queried black Americans in 2016, as he asked for their votes with characteristically blunt eloquence. Eight percent of black voters bought his pitch. While this seems like a rout, Trump outperformed Mitt Romney by one-third; 6 percent of blacks backed 2012’s GOP nominee. Trump’s total was astonishing, given that the Left/media slandered him as the guy who brings the lighter fluid to a cross burning.

So, what do blacks think of Trump today? Rasmussen’s tracking poll Monday found Trump’s approval among blacks at a record-high 40 percent, versus 50 percent nationwide. How could this be? The Trump-hating Left/media’s attacks have been ruthless, relentless, and more one-sided than a flounder. Answer: President Trump and Republican leadership have made black Americans better off than they were two years ago.

Black unemployment was 8.6 percent in October 2016. Last month, it hit 6.2 percent, marginally above May’s lowest-ever 5.9 percent.

The Labor Department counted 18.1 million blacks employed in October 2016 versus 19.3 million last month. In short, 1.2 million more black Americans have found work since Donald J. Trump was elected.

Blacks below poverty fell from 21.8 percent in 2016 to 21.2 percent in 2017, the latest and historically lowest such reading.

This great news flows from Republican policies: abundant tax relief, robust deregulation, and a pro-business tone in Washington that is healing Obama’s “You didn’t build that!” public abuse of American enterprise.

The party that freed the slaves has done even more to liberate black Americans today:

The GOP’s Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, which every single Democrat in Congress opposed, includes Opportunity Zones. These areas “offer tax incentives for businesses to invest in economically distressed communities, making them a powerful vehicle for economic growth and job creation,” a White House statement explains. Across America, 8,761 communities have been declared Opportunity Zones, not unlike the Enterprise Zones that the late Congressman Jack Kemp (R., N.Y.) advocated during the Reagan era. “Through these tax incentives, we will jumpstart our American communities, create momentum for economic recovery, and attract investment to diverse areas across our Nation.”

Among his earliest acts, President Trump welcomed to the Oval Office the heads of historically black colleges and universities. He launched a White House office to assist HBCUs. These educators identified year-round Pell Grants as one initiative that sprang from their dialogue with these alleged racists.

President Trump has kept his promise to make HBCUs a priority of his Administration, signing the HBCU executive order just six weeks into his presidency — by far, the earliest of any president,” HBCU Digest reported in September. Trump also “ordered certain federal agencies to develop annual plans to boost the competitiveness of HBCUs — to date, 29 federal agencies have developed HBCU plans.”

Trump made Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s burial site a national historic park. Obama had eight years to sign such a proclamation, but he couldn’t be bothered.

Trump and Jared Kushner, his Orthodox Jewish son-in-law and senior adviser, consider criminal-justice reform a major issue. They are working with Congress to give second chances to nonviolent offenders, which would reunite tens of thousands of black families.

Of course, when all Americans win, black Americans win, too.

Gross domestic product growth averaged 1.9 percent across Obama’s first three quarters of 2016. In 2018’s like period, under Republican leadership, that figure roared to 3.3 percent.

“On a yearly basis, wages and salaries jumped 3.1 percent, the biggest increase in 10 years,” CNBC’s Jeff Cox reported Wednesday. He called these compensation hikes “the missing link in the economy” — and they have arrived.

The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence Index hit 137.9 Tuesday, its highest level since September 2000.

In stark contrast to the “divider-in-chief” rhetoric he is accused of spouting, President Trump said: “We’re fighting to give every American — all over the country, every single American — a future of dignity and purpose and of pride.”

So true.

On Election Day, the only thing blacks have to lose is the Democrat hell from which Republicans are emancipating them.

Overwhelming Majority Of Small Business Owners Say President Trump’s Policies Have Helped Their Business

64% of small business owners in this survey say President Trump’s policies such as tax cuts and regulation cuts have helped their business. The fake news mainstream media refuses to cover this, which just shows their extreme bias. They might not care about small business owners, but President Trump does. And we-the-people recognize real results happening in our country, whether the media covers it or not.

From the Washington Examiner:

Small business owners favor Trump policies, GOP on economy: Survey

Small business owners view President Trump’s policies as helpful and favor the GOP on economic issues, according to a new survey released by the Job Creators Network.

The right-leaning small business group, which strongly backed the recently passed Republican tax cuts, found that 64 percent of small business owners see Trump’s policy changes as helping their businesses. And 58 percent said that Republicans are better at managing the economy, versus 14 percent for Democrats.

The bill included a special tax break for businesses that aren’t C-corporations in a bid to win support from small business groups.

A majority also saw media coverage of the tax bill as biased.

The survey shed some light on how small businesses are likely to respond to the tax overhaul. Asked what they planned to do with the savings from the tax cuts, a plurality of just under a quarter said that they planned to invest in new equipment or expand their business. That is the outcome that the Republican authors of the bill said they wanted.

Around a fifth of the business owners said they planned to use the tax savings to pay down debt. The next biggest group of respondents said that they would use them to raise wages.

“As revealed in these survey results, small business owners and their employees are solidly behind the policy pursuits of President Trump,” said Alfredo Ortiz, the Job Creators Network’s president. “The historic tax cuts legislation is already having positive impacts on small businesses and our economy.”

The group’s nationwide poll of 500 small business owners was conducted by Roosevelt Opinion Research in the last week.

Illegal Immigration At 45-Year Low Proves Effectiveness of President Trump’s Commitment To Build Wall

Stump for Trump is a political organization dedicated to supporting and re-electing President Trump. We spread truth to overshadow fake news and show Americans the positive effects of this presidency.

The fake news media might be the only ones who still claim President Trump isn’t going to build a wall. Those of us who can clearly see him keeping his promises understand that he is doing his best to get it done. Even illegals understand that it’s probably not worth the trip to America anymore, seeing as we now have a President who enforces the countries immigration law after years of weak leadership. This is proven by illegal border crossings hitting a 45-year low just in the first year of Trump’s presidency.

From the Washington Examiner:

Illegal immigration hits 45-year low under Trump

The number of illegal immigrants apprehended at the southwest border in 2017 hit a 45-year low, but the Department of Homeland Security warned the numbers cannot continue to decrease without changes to long-standing immigration policy.

Border Patrol reported a 40 percent decrease in apprehensions in 2017 under President Trump compared to 2016, when former President Barack Obama was in office.

“The final border apprehension numbers of 2017, specifically at the southern border, undeniably prove the effectiveness of President Trump’s commitment to securing our borders,” acting DHS press secretary Tyler Houlton said in a statement. “The secretary will require fixes to these loopholes as part of any immigration package negotiated today at the White House.”

DHS said 40,513 people were taken into custody by CBP officers in December. The number was up 1,500 from November and nearly 6,000 higher than October, the first month of the 2018 fiscal year.

But in December 2016, CBP said apprehended nearly 30 percent more illegal immigrants: 58,412.

During her meeting with lawmakers and Trump at the White House on Tuesday, DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen stressed the need to reform existing policy.

“The significant increase over the last month in the number of family units and unaccompanied children coming across the border illegally highlights the dire need for Congress to immediately adopt responsible pro-American immigration reforms,” Houlton said. “Current loopholes in our immigration laws have created an incentive for illegal immigrants who knowingly exploit these same loopholes to take advantage of our generosity.”
